IKI saunas heaters
If you stumbled upon IKI you probably have found HUUM first and debating on the two. LIke, why should I spend so much more on the IKI and don't know if it's that much better than the HUUM. Almost everyone that calls in is comparing both the HUUM and IKI.
If you compare them side by side most people will want the IKI as it is smooth and no sharp edges. You don't see these sold at hardware stores like other brands. I recommend this brand for those that are going to keep their sauna on for longer than 1 session as it does take longer to heat up the massive amount of stones. Yes, much longer than HUUM to heat up the room but will save a lot of money as their high watt density elements don't have to work as hard. The more rocks the cheaper it is to keep the sauna on all day.
As far as a high end heater, this is the closest in quality to the EOS heater that is made in Germany. Many people are not aware of this but IKI uses the same controllers that HUUM uses. I have another distributor that is not selling HUUM anymore and has a lot of left over black controllers which should help if you need a discounted controller.
The IKI is a commercial grade heater but most are sold for residential use. I sell the IKI to many gyms and day spas. Huum is still the most popular heater I carry due to its price. I focus mostly on selling scratch and dent heaters as most people are looking for a deal.
Out of all the heaters I sell this is the best one for steam. For those that want a super intense steam pouring water in the middle versus pouring water on the sides gives it a soothing steam versus a sharp blast. If doing it for heat shock proteins you can pour more water on this heater as it doesn't cool down as quickly like heaters with less rocks. Their high watt density elements heat the rocks back up quicker than the cheap, low watt density elements on the cheaper heaters. I have never had anyone call to get heating elements replaced with this brand.
I strongly recommend this brand over HUUM if you can afford it. For those that cannot afford a high end heater but want it check in with me and I may have returns from people who bought the wrong killowatt size or if there are any blemished heaters I can check on your killowatt size. I do not stock heaters. I have 3 distributors I get these from and it might take a week or two to get the killowatt size you want in a scratch and dent when it becomes available.
If buying an IKI sauna heater at regular price I will offer 50% off on my best selling traditional sauna brand. Yes, if you go online there are many people advertising the sauna brand and charging double the price I am offering. I don't nickel and dime people. I do the same thing with hyperbaric chambers. If someone buys an oxygen concentrator, I give them my cost on a hyperbaric chamber.
Please call to make sure you get the right killowatt size. Over half the people get the wrong killowatt size when using sizing charts as they don't figure in R values, thermoclines, types of wood used, bench heights and heat co-efficients. Just a 6 inch thermocline makes a huge difference. If using a stratification system (floor fan) that affect the latent heat and although you feel all the heat in your upper body by mixing thermoclines this can totally mess up the latent heat you experience from the heater. If you don't know the 200 rule and how to apply that with the type of heater in the sauna and you want to pour lots of water on the heater with a massive amount of stones this will DEFINITELY BREAK THE 200 RULE. Those who want the best sauna experience should want to understand all the work we do with biohacking saunas. We are in our 50's and 60's and have no problem talking on the phone. We understand many people are not comfortable on the phones. Talking to someone with over 25 years of experience will help.
