Saunalife heaters
This is my 2nd best selling heater I carry and is built to withstand high temperatures (HUUM). Their thermally modified wood helps their saunas resist rot and decay like the ones that don't have this. Their R values are just as high as the top brand I sell and this brand can handle the extreme cold temperatures if using it outdoors.
Even though their wood is harder than most I still recommend brushing their seats and back rests with paraffin wax. Any Home Depot carries this. I get them wholesale so I throw them in with every sauna if someone wants it. It keeps the sweat and smells out of the wood as the wax seals the wood.
Most people who buy the Saunalife get the Huum heater since it handles their heat. The problem is that at 230 degrees it forms a heat trap at the ceiling so getting a floor fan or the Saunum AirSolo Wall is nice to have. I do have some demos of these from a video review I did for those who don't want to pay for a brand new one.
The Saunalife saunas do not have any off-gassing issues. Some saunas give off this resin smell at high temperatures, especially with HUUM and IKI that don't have high limit switches.
If getting a heater like this I strongly recommend getting reflectors so the wood doesn't char and your knees don't burn. Ask me about reflectors as many people have to order them after they get their sauna who didn't know about this.
BEWARE: Most people who buy a Saunalife sauna get the drop heater. Be aware that their are 2 different versions of this heater and you won't be able to tell as it is not disclosed. There are thousands of versions with the element separators built into the Huum drop heater and some come with the heat reflector to protect the wall and some don't.
Note: if using a HUUM heater I strongly recommend treated woods and if keeping the heater next to the wall or too close to the bench I have the most problems with untreated wood. If you don't go with Saunalife I like Thermory just as much. They are also made in Estonia.
The thermally modified wood used in their saunas also is the center cut wood that doesn't rot and deteriorate like the outer wood. You will not find any knots in any wood in their saunas.
Note: If you have a contractor that can buy under their name please mention that when you call and we will go over contractor pricing. We set up contractors all the time. Ask your contractor if they buy from Ferguson. Most contractors do if they can fill out the forms for contractor pricing we can help.
We are open late. Sharon, Jake, Alan, and several other sauna enthusiasts will answer the phone. One of us should always be available. We have lots of experience and help. We are not salespeople. Call to buy a sauna or to learn about biohacking your sauna. You don't have to buy anything to talk to us. We love talking about biohacking saunas. All saunas get dropshipped from one of the 3 importers and we simply refer people to them or take orders if it is not a complicated sale. A complicated sale is when someone needs exact number of pieces of wood to build their sauna that we have the senior level people at the manufacturers help with that.
We always have promotions on saunas. Ask about our scratch n dent saunas. Yes, we can combine contractor pricing and scratch n dent discounts. We do not advertise pricing on these.
If you want to discuss contractor pricing or our pricing we offer or any sales we have reach out. If you need full service and lots of help expect full pricing. If you already know what you want or have questions are not going to take a lot of time expect self serve prices. (Just like buying gas. full service... self service... you get my point.
Most of the people that help here are retired and answer calls to help me out since I helped them out at times when they were in need.
We are open late. Call us to talk about saunas, biohacking or anything on your mind. We always pick up our phones.
